Its A Mystery!

There are some spaces left in Carolyn's Mystery Quilt class, to be held on the 2nd June, so here is a little teaser.

Expect to start a quilt that will become a family heirloom - we'd expect nothing less of our Carolyn surely!?

Hope I haven't given too much away!

Class will run from 10.30am to 3pm on Saturday June 2nd, cost $75.00.

News from Patchwork Heaven

We really get to see the loveliest things at Carolyn's.

Some of our girls had a play with the Bulls Eye Quilt Design during a recent Sit and Sew and they are so different and all delightful. I just love this quilt - definitely on the list of To-Do's.

And here is a gem from Lorraine, who definitely doesn't let the grass grow under her feet.

She has made this top from a kit she purchased at the AQC and that wasn't that long ago!

Blocks of the Month Progress.

Now that the dust has settled from AQC, and Carolyn has had at least one Monday to use for sewing the BOM's are moving along.

Anna Maria's quilt

Anna Maria's quilt, started in the Beginner's Class with Carolyn, is growing like topsy! She is on track to make this 'sampler' expand to 56" x 94".

Not at all bad for a first quilt - even Daisy approves!

Fabric Club on its way

Shelley has been busy putting the finishing touches to Reproduction Fabric Club for May, so its time to keep an eye on the mailbox for a pleasant surprise.

Sorry about the 'spoiler' but there will be a little taste of the lovely English Lane in one of the colourways. The green is pictured here in front of some sweet background fabrics that are new in. Impossible to tell in the photo but there are actually tiny spots on some of these.

Not content to just create her own 'Farmer's Wife' version by machine, Helen is also planning a stunning pieced backing!

That's right - this is the start of the back - not the front. She's a hard act to follow this one!

And what a dishy green that is!

We can only watch and be amazed - and a little envious I guess.
